As questions are asked about the mass killing at Marikana, what can be revealed from studying the news footage?

In the clip above, E-News’ Group News Editor, Ben Said, gives an analysis of footage of an additional Al Jazeera camera, that clearly shows a striking miner firing a hand pistol,which may have been the first shot that triggered the police’s volley of fire.
